Born and bred a musician’s daughter, Andie Zaragoza has been singing since she was 5 years old. Although a dilettante multi-instrumentalist, she’s been writing her own songs since she was 13 and now regards herself as the lyrical lovechild of Seuss, Poe, and Yorke.
Mark Tonai is the lead guitarist for Anfang. Coming up on Chicago’s Southside, Mark began his love affair with all things rock and blues while spinning his late father’s vinyl collection. His own massive CD repository is thus inspired. Influenced by greats like Zeppelin, Sabbath, Stevie Ray, and Hendrix, Mark chose to pick up a guitar, and to this day is still trying to figure out how to play the dang thing.
Hailing from the verdant wilds of West Virginia, Christian Newman shreds bass with style and panache. While not melting faces with sick riffs, he enjoys spending time with his cat, Chooch. Also his wife. And his daughter, too. In his spare time he pretends to be an architect. Among his influences are Coheed, Thrice, and The Fall of Troy.
Originating from Northwest Indiana, Nick Rissler plays drums for Anfang. He has been drumming intermittently for 15 years and has a long history of taking his shirt off. The rest of the band does not hold his Hoosier heritage against him.
